CAC Security Subcommittee

The CAC Security Subcommittee (CACSec) was created in the spring of 1998 as a standing subcommittee of the Computer Advisory Committee (CAC).

It is charged with creating and maintaining an appropriate security policy for MTU as follows:

• recommend a plan describing the objects and appropriate level of security for campus electronic resources.
• identify, prioritize, and recommend action for security problems on campus
• define and maintain the requirements for campus-wide security plans.
